Ross’ brand-new six-part series starts on Channel Five on Monday 28th September 2009 at 10pm.
Ross Noble combines two of his great passions – biking and comedy – as he takes us with him on an epic, 26,000-kilometre, five-month road trip round Oz. Roaring across the outback to the beyond and back again during an 85-gig stand-up tour, Ross presents us with his highly idiosyncratic eye-view of the most quirky and memorable sights, sounds and encounters of his adopted country as he bikes his way between venues – and shares his observations with his audiences in typically spontaneous style.

The adventure begins in Queensland where Ross quite literally drives off the stage of the Brisbane concert hall straight into the first leg of his journey. Leaving behind the excitable crowds in Australia’s answer to Ibiza – Surfer’s Paradise – he soon experiences the scorching hot silence of desert highways, close emu encounters, admires the giant prawn of Lismore and visits Mad Max territory before succumbing to the citrus delights of Orange World in downtown Mildura.
And his journey’s only just begun ……………

So excited!!, this is going to be brilliant, cant wait!!:)
My best friend lives Essex and I live in Surrey we sat in our respective living rooms txting each other that we were watching Ross laughing our heads off ! What must the neighbours have thought?!
We loved it can’t wait to see why Ross is pulled over for by the Aussie police in next weeks episode.
Hi Ross, As a keen biker for 40yrs I can only envy and applaud your recent tour of Oz on the Beemer.I’ve just started watching the TV shows and I’m really impressed with both the riding and the comedy. It’s a real credit to you to be able to roll straight back in to touring after you terrible losses in the fires.
I hope to see you on stage one day soon.
Best wishes
Chris Howard

who’s the guitarist playing the incidental music on the series? I used to live in Perth, and it sounds like Tristan Goodall from Aussie group The Audreys, who played the music for Aussie drama series Rain Shadow.
PLEASE can we have this series on DVD???? My husband and I have been in fits of laughter at the series so far, particularly the one aired on Monday (October 12th).
Thanks
Anyone have a complete list of the venues of Ross’s 85 gigs in Australia, I’m gonna be leaving for Australia on the 1st of December and want to visit some of the places he did!! Thanks.
Hya,
I live in Oz and have recently travelled Australia and all I’ve got to say is…THANK YOU
With our climate and our roads for Ross to still put in a show after riding that far is bloody brilliant, i’ve just watched your new dvd and I can see you love our country…otherwise you wouldn’t have married Fran I suppose, not that had to do with our country…whilst I’m at it, good on ya Fran for marrying that deviat knowing the traveling he does.
Anyway, Cheers Ross and Fran and thnx again…ummm…dont suppose ya can point an Aussie in the right direction for the rest of the tour not included in the dvd can ya?
Go my spelling mistakes
Hey cobber think you missed a whole state out of your so called “AUSTRALIAN” trip? Fair suck of the sav! TASMANIA is Australias 2nd oldest settlement and the best place on earth …….. on seccond thoughts we want to keep it a secret!
The giant Prawn of Lismore! ha its in Ballina and it is going to go!
Hahaha “The adventure begins in Queensland where Ross quite literally drives off (…) into the first leg of his journey.” Judging by the picture above, there are quite a few legs!
“What is the AMAZING acoustic piece that runs through show. Particularly in the silent bits when you’re on your bike.”
The song is “Dream On” by Depeche Mode. I think it is the Dave Clarke Acoustic Version that is used.
I am originally from Wagga Wagga and usually get quite excited about seeing my home town on tv….only this time it made me pretty depressed at the lack of action the council takes to fix my ‘broken’ town!! Hopefully Ross Noble can help highlight the shit bits and get the council to get up off their arses and do something positive for the town and draw some good publicity and maybe some tourists!!
just so u know the big prawn is actually in ballina. love ur commedy tho.
Ross, I echo a point above - please can we have this on DVD! Not only is it hilarious it really is a great point of view of the Australia psyche. Go on, let us have it on DVD!
Daryl - Melbourne.
For the people asking about the guitar piece that features throughout the series, it is composed by Banks & Wag

For those enquiring about DVD, I have found out it is released in April 2010 in Australia (not sure about the UK)
Gday, just wondering what is the music that is played during shots of Ross riding his bike during the show. Rock guitar sort of sound.
Loved it!!!! just wondering when and if this will be released on Dvd?
This was a great show missed some tho, whens it out on dvd?
today me and my family took a trip to healsville sanctuary/
while we were in the bistro eating a man that looked like ross noble walked past and sat down on a table near us.
my mum is convinced it was Ross Noble, but the rest of us this she is just delusional.
could you please tell me if it was so we know if she is crazy or not?
