During Ross’ recent Things UK tour, he took time out from the tour to spend the day with his childhood hero, 12 time World Trials Champion Dougie Lampkin.
The day was filmed by Channel Five for the TV program Fifth Gear and this will air Monday June 22nd (tonight!!) at 8pm.

I am a fellow Cramlingtonite, just thought I would drop a line on how funny you were on fifth gear. I am a mad biker too and can appreciate how hard trials are from experience. I tried it in the past and was poop! By the way Cramlington is still the centre of the universe, it rocks.
Hi, My name is Chloe Whittle. I’m from a small town Bendigo in Central Victoria, Aus.
This morning i was cruising around the Trials Australia Website and found a hilarious clip of Ross and Trials legend Dougie Lampkin riding together. After having a bit of a chuckle, an idea came to me. My Dad, my younger brother, and myself are all keen trials riders, competing in competitions and enjoy a casual ride on the weekend. If Ross was ever in the area, he would always be quite welcome to joins us with his gas-gas and a few local riders for a practice day at Sedgwick, a world class property only 15 mins for the middle of Bendigo. :D!
It wouldn’t compare to being coached by a world champion, but would sure beat a put around the backyard. And if he doesn’t have a bike, he would also be quite welcome to borrow one from us
